Harris Sixth Form results 2016

Posted on: 18/08/2016

Harris Sixth Formers in Croydon

A Level results at the Harris Sixth Form have broken previous records, with 40% of entries receiving A*, A or B grades. A quarter of students received Russell Group offers and early indications are that the majority achieved the grades they needed to take up places.

Notable successes among Croydon students include:

Matthew Dallas, from the Harris Crystal Palace Campus. He achieved 2 A* grades and an A and will be going to Leeds to study Geography;

Ashley Noel-Hirst, from the Harris Crystal Palace Campus. He achieved 2 A* grades and an A and will be going to Warwick to study Maths;

Ollie Springate, from the Harris South Norwood Campus. He achieved 3 A grades and will be studying History and Politics at Warwick;

Megan Takwani, from the Harris South Norwood Campus. She achieved An A* and 2 A grades and will be studying History at Leeds.

Sandra Miles, Principal of the Harris Sixth Form said:

“This has been a fantastic year with a record number of students off to top universities. Some of these are the first in their family to go to university, so their results are a huge triumph.

“Our sixth form has grown in size substantially, but we always make the effort to stay in touch with our alumni. We cannot wait to follow their success when they begin university and see what they go on to achieve.”
