Choosing a Sixth Form is one of the most important decisions you will make, opening the door to university, apprenticeships and exciting careers. At Harris Sixth Form, you become part of a community that combines the individuality of your local academy with the opportunities of one of the largest and most successful school groups in the country.
The Harris Federation supports more than 7,000 Sixth Form students across London and Essex, delivering exceptional academic outcomes and sustained destinations into Higher Education, Degree Apprenticeships and employment.
Our ambition is simple: to provide a world-class education for every student, regardless of background. We combine expert teaching, high expectations and exceptional pastoral care with a personal development programme that equips students with the knowledge, confidence and skills to succeed long after they leave us.
Every Harris Sixth Form is unique, reflecting its own community, character and specialisms, but every student benefits from the opportunities that being part of the Harris Federation provides. Our Sixth Forms are recognised for their quality, with over 75% achieving the highest Ofsted grade under the framework in place at the time of inspection.
Students can choose from more than 50 academic and vocational qualifications, taught by expert subject specialists who are committed to helping every learner achieve their full potential. Alongside A Levels, our ambitious vocational pathways prepare students for university, higher apprenticeships and employment, with the introduction of V Levels further strengthening our future-focused curriculum.
Our students progress to some of the most competitive universities and careers in the country. Harris students secure Russell Group university places at more than double the national average, with exceptional success in Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science. For students choosing an alternative route, our federation-wide apprenticeship programme provides direct access to prestigious employers and highly competitive degree apprenticeships.
Education at Harris extends far beyond qualifications. Through enrichment, leadership opportunities, careers programmes, employer engagement and federation-wide initiatives such as Harris Experience Advance and Harris Scholars, students develop the confidence, resilience and wider skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
