University

Every year, at least 4 in 5 our Sixth Form students go on to study at universities, more than twice the national average.

Previously, this included 47 students progressing to Oxbridge, over 55 students progressing to medicine, dentistry and veterinary science, and 1/4 going on to Russell Group universities (1.5 x the national rate).

A third of our students progress to Sutton Trust 30 universities. Students have also had great success securing apprenticeships, including over 150 confirmed apprenticeships placements at top companies such as Deloitte, Google and Goldman Sachs, or taking up training schemes and work.  We track all destinations and keep in touch with our students over many years, through the Harris Futures website. Students who choose to take a year out after leaving our Sixth Form are always supported when it comes time to make applications.

“Harris is incredible because if you show passion and dedication, they’ll help you achieve your goals, no matter what. I felt truly fortunate to be in a place where everyone was encouraged and supported to reach their full potential.”

“The Harris Experience Advanced Programme gave me the extra push I needed, and I’m very grateful for that.”

“Harris has been crucial for me because I couldn’t speak English when I arrived from Italy in year 7. Graduating and attending one of the world’s best universities is largely thanks to my time at Harris.”

“I think the focus on technology was really one of the fundamental reasons for my success in life as a tech entrepreneur.”
